Dena’s Story
Dena Goldstein is a visual storyteller based in Austin, Texas, with a passion for highlighting female founders, women-focused organizations, and mission-driven companies. Her love for storytelling began in high school, when she created a video honoring motherhood for a group supporting women with postpartum depression. They played it at their Mother’s Day luncheon, and everyone in the room was in tears. That’s what drives Dena to produce videos: the power of stories to move people and make them feel seen.
Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Dena studied journalism and mass communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (go Badgers!). She’s created promotional content for non-profits, veterinary clinics, and small businesses. She also served as a Marketing Producer at KVUE-TV, Austin’s ABC affiliate, where she was part of a team that won a Lone Star Regional Emmy for a digital trailer about affordability in Central Texas. One of her favorite projects there was creating videos for the station’s "5 Who Care" ceremony, which spotlights locals making an impact.
Dena believes that everyone has a story worth telling, and she specializes in unlocking those stories. She is known for making people feel at ease in front of the camera, drawing out the most authentic, compelling pieces of their stories through her genuine interest. Her clients include Westminster, Todos Juntos, Moneta Ventures, Pain Specialists of America, The Purple Fig, and more.
